Sat Apr 10, 2010 - 1 PM to 3 PM - Vintage Dance Workshop

Brush up on your dance skills just before the Grand Ball with lessons from vintage dance instructor, Martha Griffin. It's fun and easy - no prior experience necessary!
Location to be determined.
Cost: $10 per person or $15 per couple (pay at the door).

Sat Apr 10, 2010 - 8 PM - Grand Civil War Ball

Doors open at 7 PM and the dance begins promptly at 8 PM
Travel back in time to the mid-19th century and experience a Civil War era ball.
Live music by premier vintage dance band, Spare Parts.
Period dress and dress blues greatly admired but not required.

	420 North Washington Ave, Scranton PA

Two ticket choices this year:
Also new this year, we are offering spectator (non-dancing) tickets at a reduced price for those who prefer to watch rather than dance. Spectator tickets are $5 per person for LHS members / $7. per person for non-members. Does not allow entry to dance floor. Cash bar available.

Sun Apr 11, 2010 - 1 PM to 3 PM - The Victorian Lady Undressed

A program on women's fashions in the Victorian Era with a Victorian-style tea served midway through the presentation!
